No. Bring yours if you can — it's always better on your own bike. If not, I'll arrange an e-MTB rental in Sintra or Lisbon; tell me in the booking form and I'll send you the options and price.

Anything from confident-on-a-bike upwards. The route is built around you after a short warm-up, and both forests have easy and brutal versions of the same descent. Complete beginners on technical terrain are the one thing I'd steer away from.

English or Ukrainian — I'm comfortable in both. My Portuguese is basic: enough for the trailhead and the café, not for a long conversation.

Yes, and it costs nothing. I film with GoPro and GoPro Max 2 — the 360 camera catches angles a chest mount can't. You get the stills and clips after the ride and you're free to post them.

Autumn through spring for Sintra — that's when the fog and grip arrive. Summer is hot and dusty but rides fine early or at golden hour, and Monsanto is good all year.

Sintra is often better in the wet — the granite grips and the forest looks unreal. If it's genuinely unsafe we move to Monsanto, shift the time, or reschedule. You're never charged for weather.

Sintra town or a trailhead in the Serra, or the Monsanto park entrance for Lisbon rides. I send the exact pin once the day is confirmed. Pickup from Lisbon or Cascais can be arranged.

Yes — the price covers the first rider and each extra rider is added. Up to about five riders keeps it a proper guided day; bigger than that and I'll bring a second guide.

Cancel or move for free up to 48 hours before. Inside that, we'll find another date. Weather cancellations are always free.

Nothing up front. Booking a slot holds the date; you pay on the day by card, cash or transfer.
